There are many ways you can help out on our farm. We offer long and short-term volunteer and exchange opportunities as well as paid internships.
If you are interested in helping for part or all of a day, we would be happy to give you a share of delicious organic vegetables in exchange for a minimum of 4 hours of work. We need help on harvest days (Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays) and there is also a need for help with non-harvest activities such as weeding, bed preparation and cultivation.
For more information or to schedule a time to help on the farm, please call (520-909-4903) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
For those interested in longer term exchange opportunities, we provide food and housing for people willing to commit to at least one month of work.
You can see our listing on the HelpX site at www.helpX.net.
We also have a WWOOF-USA listing at wwoofusa.org – WWOOF requires registration to see our listing.
If you would like to spend a minimum of 3 months helping at the farm while learning about organic and sustainable farming practices, for people with some agriculture/horticulture experience and/or education, we offer paid internships.
More information can be found at our ATTRA internship listing at attra.ncat.org.
